The Green
Organic Dutchman Holdings Ltd. announced its intention to complete a spinoff
transaction by way of plan of arrangement, pursuant to which the Company will
distribute a dividend consisting of a warrant in a new corporation (“TGOD Acquisitions”) to shareholders.
The new corporation will be engaged in the acquisition and development of worldwide
opportunities.
TGOD has met
with emerging cannabis companies from around the globe
and acquired a deep understanding,
including proprietary knowledge, of all facets of the
cannabis industry. These companies are not considered core assets in
TGOD’s business plan, and accordingly, they have not been
pursued to date. However, the Company now wishes to monetize this
unique situation for the benefit of TGOD shareholders. After
consultation with multiple financial institutions, TGOD Acquisitions plans
to execute a series of staged financings and acquisitions
leading to a late 2018 target IPO date.7
Emerald
Health Therapeutics, Inc. have signed a definitive agreement to acquire
the remaining shares of Northern Vine Canada Inc. (Northern Vine), owned by
Abattis Bioceuticals Corp. (CSE:ATT) (OTC:ATTBF), for $2 million in cash and $4
million in shares of Emerald stock. This transaction increases Emerald’s
ownership of Northern Vine from 65% to 100%. Northern Vine is a Licensed Dealer
(LD) under the provisions of the Canadian Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
“Product
innovation is a primary pillar of Emerald’s global business strategy. The
acquisition of Northern Vine allows us to leverage its dealer license and
research and development facility to advance our research plans to develop
cannabis formulations supporting new products for both recreational purposes
and to treat a broad spectrum of human conditions and diseases,” said Chris
Wagner, CEO of Emerald. “The dealer license would also enable Emerald to cost
effectively source non-dried-flower cannabis products from suppliers in other
countries.”
Namaste
Technologies Inc. announced that the company has submitted applications to the
Apple and Google Play stores in order to launch its latest mobile application,
Uppy Cannabis Journal. Uppy Cannabis Journal is the first artificial
intelligence ("AI") driven medical cannabis app, which is designed to
collect direct feedback on cannabis strains and over time provide strain and
cannabis hardware recommendations. Namaste has implemented its AI technology through
the Company's wholly owned subsidiary Findify AB ("Findify" or
"Findify.io") and has fed over 2 million pieces of unique data to the
platform which forms the base on which the algorithm will evolve and adapt
itself to better understand the effects of cannabis strains in relation to
treatment of many symptoms.
Through Uppy
Cannabis Journal, Namaste's customers and medical cannabis patients will have
the access to journal their experiences using various strains of cannabis to
treat their symptoms. The data collected over time will allow the algorithm to
characterize the way different strains of cannabis benefit different people
suffering from different symptoms. The goal of the Uppy Cannabis Journal is to
develop a shopping experience whereby patients are provided with the best
possible strain recommendations personalized for their needs, based on factual
data collected through Namaste's network of e-commerce sites, combined with
user-feedback and AI technology.
iAnthus
Capital Holdings, Inc., which owns, operates and partners with licensed
cannabis operations throughout the United States, announced that Mayflower
Medicinals, Inc. ("Mayflower"), a Massachusetts non-profit Registered
Marijuana Dispensary ("RMD") license holder affiliated with the
Company, is opening its flagship medical cannabis dispensary in Boston.
Located in
the neighborhood of Allston, the dispensary will offer patients a full spectrum
of medical cannabis products in the form of flower, tinctures, concentrates,
oils and vaporizers. Mayflower is the second license holder to open a
dispensary within the city of Boston. This inaugural Mayflower
location is the 34th dispensary to open within the commonwealth of
Massachusetts, which has a population of approximately 6.7 million people.
Beleave Inc.
announced the acquisition of 100% of the outstanding shares of Seven Oaks Inc.
in an all share deal valued at $3,000,000.

Oaks has a proven track record of working collaboratively to secure wholesale
and distribution agreements with retailers across Canada," said Beleave
CEO, Andrew Wnek. "Beleave breaking into the recreational market with
